I made this as part of a gift to hold blu ray movies, figured I'd share it here while I was at it. This was a last minute project idea I came up with and sort of designed while I printed stuff and just went back and forth like that. I should've designed it with less pieces but that would've required longer print times, and I had very little time to lose if something went wrong. The assembly should be pretty straight forward but the lighting method is up to you. I used flexible led strips, with a remote led controller, and power supply. All bought on amazon. I've put in some basic info for printing and assembly in the post printing tab, but feel free to ask me any questions if you decide to make one and need some help. The all parts in place STL is ONLY a guide for how everything fits together. It is not meant to be printed. Post-Printing Print 2 of each Side Panel, Light Panel Frame, Light Panel Cover. Print 1 roof panel, back panel, bottom panel. Check the All Parts stl to see how everything fits together. I uploaded the design in a way that you can choose your own led's and wiring method as long as you have a dremel or other way to cut holes or slots in the inner and/or back panels for wiring. I've uploaded a picture of how I chose to run the lighting. I also glue white paper to the back of the lithopanes, and glued foil to the inside of the light panel covers to get consistent light coming through the lithopane. I used white PLA for the light panel frame to act as a diffuser/cover. I printed all panels directly on the bed so the pieces maintained a glossy finish and act as a reflector to illuminate the inside. For the lithopane, use a picture that is roughly 4:3 ratio VERTICAL. Customize using this one specifically: http://www.thingiverse.com/apps/customizer/run?thing_id=229961. I used these settings: invert colors = yes layer_height = 0.01 lithophane_border = 2 height = 4 bottom_padding = 0.4 size = 137 When slicing, change the scale of X to .76 and leave Y and Z normal. I carefully used superglue to put it together only because I was on a time crunch to get it done and have't replaced my glue gun yet. The only residue visible is inside the box, but hot glue would be the way to go. Feel free to ask me any questions if you are making one. Lights facing towards each other all the way around, then facing up along the bottom. nearly complete picture of the inside of the box
