I decided to remix FrozrOne's excellent clip to fit specifically the American Lighting AL15-RGB-5M flexible neon (LED) light strips sold at Costco. There is a 5 cm and a 2 cm version. I increased the base thickness from 1 mm to 2 mm and changed the angle and length of sides for a good fit. The screw hole is 3 mm diameter and countersunk to fit a small flat head screw with 5.5 mm diameter head, but you can always drill the hole larger.
