Parametric (solidworks sources included) desing to hold a cheap ebay 10$ 90mm halo ring angle eye headline mod (for car headlights). This is attaching as a lens hood (not as filter), there is enough friction to hold on its own, but can be twisted and latched. The latch mechanism is printed with a 45 degree champfer so no support needed while printing. There is a grove for the PCB to be glued into and a opening on the edge for the cable to come out and 2 holes for a zip ties (to fixate cable at any direction you want while allowing it to be secured to the PCB. This feature works as a index point as well when trying to attach it to lens (knowing where are the lens hood notches). This cheap setup is good for macro photography where built in flash is blocked by the lens itself (giving you even light from all directions with softer shadows. Or face closeups with that ring light effect in the eyes. Desinged for 2 configurations: Canon EF LENS 50mm 1:1.8 STM Canon ZOOM LENS EF-S 18-55mm 1:3.5-5.6 IS STM But with the parametric design it's easy to add new configurations (either do it yourself in solidworks) or ask me in the comments to add a configuration for you.
