LED Ring Snap Mount for Rostock MAX

This mount is designed to snap to a SeeMeCNC Rostock MAX or Orion effector with no fasteners except for zip ties. Its purpose is to stand off an LED ring from the bottom of the effector, so it doesn't ride up against the universal joints and possibly cause "delta arm blues" type issues. (It also gives the LED ring a more finished looking mount.) . The three protruding jaws that snap the mount to the effector platform are a little delicate, so be careful. After fitting the mount, push up near the jaws so that the part fits securely to the effector with no gap. .IMPORTANT: Ensure that the mount fits securely, with no slop or wiggle room. It fits perfectly on my machine, but that's with my calibration and the particular filament I used. This does not guarantee it will be a perfect fit on your machine. The mount must not fall during a print. If it does, mechanical, electronic, or fire damage may ensue. For extra security, it can be lashed to the effector. . If you're using my E3D mount to affix an E3D or other groovemount hot end to the bottom of your effector, note that the snap mount has three recesses to match the profile of the E3D mount. That way, when you fit it, it won't be bent out of shape. . That done, secure the LED ring to the mount with zip ties. Use at least four, and tighten them down well. The LED ring's wires will be clamped between the mount and the LED ring at the point where they're soldered, which should prevent the solder joints from working lose and failing over time. I recommend putting one of the zip ties close to the solder joints.
