LED Strip Holder for Under Counter Lighting

THIS MAY NOT BE FINISHED Many years ago, I installed under counter lighting in the kitchen. I used rope lights to light the counter on both sides of the kitchen sink. I didn't install any lights above the sink, although there was an obvious need. Enter 3D printing and small LED strips, and I found an alternate way to provide some light above the sink when you don't need the brilliance of the light fixture above the sink. The LED holders here allow you to mount small USB powered inexpensive LED strips that are available now. I had a few of these strips on hand, so I used them:http://www.banggood.com/LG-LED-Double-Sided-Insert-USB-Light-Ultrathin-light-p-925946.html?rmmds=search I can't recommend these, because they may be more expensive and brighter than you need, but there are others available. The one I would have purchased for my application is this one:http://www.banggood.com/Wholesale-LED-Rigid-Strip-c-2772-0-1-3-45-0_page1.html?sortType=asc There are two sizes and styles of holders for 30 and 34 mm strips. The strip fastens to the holder using a #6 sheet metal screw (or slightly smaller metric equivalent) that threads into the plated-thru hole in the strip. The mounting frame has an opening to allow you wire to the strip on either side or both sides of the strip, and then be able to insert the prewired strips into holders that are already mounted (I used hot glue). I used a 5v phone charger purchased at a thrift store to power the 4 strips I used. I also used a series resistor to reduce the current and achieve the low brilliance I wanted. Depending on your application, the holders here may or may not work, but if a small change to one of the two styles here is needed, let me know and I'll post one. One change I would have made is to adjust the hole size in the holder so I could use a screw into the bracket rather than threading into the plated-thru hole in the strip (which can be difficult). Print Settings Printer: Geeetech Prusa I3 Pro Dual Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .2 or .3 Layer height Infill: only enough to get it to print correctly Notes: A couple perimeters is all that is required. There isn't much strength required once they are mounted
