LED Strip Holder

LED Strip Holder

thingiverse

Holder for 13.5mm x 77mm x 4.25mm LED strip. Designed to stick on with double sided tape or command strip and move up and down with the Z carriage on the right side of an AnyCubic i3 Mega, but there is nothing printer specific about it. I wanted an angled eye shield, so decided to add a second holder on an angle that could double as the shield. I'm only using one strip, but two fit perfectly as shown in the pictures. For the AnyCubic, I ran wires to an unused 12V source on the main power supply. I've included a picture of the LED strips I have, which I picked up at a local hardware store, but there are so many variations you'll need to measure to see if this works for you. The strips I have are 13.54mm wide, 77mm tall, and 4.26 mm thick. The holder is designed with 0.5mm clearance in width and thickness, which works for my printer/filament/LED combo. YMMV. I was going to post left and right mounts, but the left one gets in the way of x homing on the Mega so I didn't bother. My octopi camera is mounted on the right, so the single holder works for me. It you use it on something else and want a right facing one, just mirror it in your slicer.
