I designed this table lamp with a height of 40cm, boasting a unique design made up of 8-13 distinct pieces, making it suitable for printing on 3D printers. The lamp can be customized with: 3-5 sturdy base legs and 1-3 stylish caps. The lamp's body gently swings from a durable cable. One lamp cap fits snugly over 4x5mm LEDs. When installing individual LED diodes, we'll demonstrate how to calculate the necessary resistor. Calculating Resistors: Consider this example: We're working with a battery that supplies 12 V and referencing data from our catalog: The LED operates at 2 V, while its maximum current is 20 mA. First, determine the ideal resistance of the resistor by subtracting the LED's voltage from the power supply: R = V - 2. Next, apply Ohm's Law to find the exact resistance value required: V/R = A Using our previously calculated voltage on the resistor (10 V) and a current that flows through the diode (20 mA or .02 A), we can calculate its value.
