Lee Loadmaster Powder Measure Vibration Motor Modification

Adding a vibration to the Lee Powder Measures can increase powder drop accuracy. Some designs use cell phone motors or aquarium pumps. I wanted more power and more control and I wanted to be able to hook into my broader 12v power system for my bullet feeder and case feeder. This design checks all those boxes for me. The Auto Drum configuration should work as is. For Auto Disk, there isn't a great way to mount it outside of friction which doesn't work reliably with vibration. There are two grooves in the "top" of the motor housing so a rubber band can be stretched between the two screws of the powder container. This reliably holds the housing in place even at the highest motor setting. I've included all parts for the whole setup. Proximity sensor clips to the back of the press at the bottom and is triggered by the primer rocker arm. On the downstroke, the sensor is off. On the upstroke, the sensor activates, triggers the timer which I have set to a 2 second run time. This allows me to have vibration both as the powder starts to dispense through the end. Your preferred settings may vary. The timer then shuts off the power until it is reset for the next round. This is a pretty strong motor, so I recommend wiring to a speed control so you can adjust the power as you see fit. Lower power provides less vibration but is also quieter so you get to decide how you want to run things - and it may vary based on the type of powder you use. Both motor casings are friction fit. You may need to sand edges slightly depending on your powder measure. For the auto drum, you will need to remove the hopper adaptor to install the part.
