Left Handed 6 String Nut for Headless Guitars

Left Handed 6 String Nut for Headless Guitars

thingiverse

Many HEADLESS guitars are uniform in shape and even contain hardware for using right or left handed. However, you can't just flip the strings around to make a right handed guitar a left handed one. You need a left handed nut. One that can fit the string sizes going in the opposite direction. I searched the interwebs for a left handed nut for a headless guitar, and came up empty. I then jumped into Tinkercad and whipped this one up in the style of the right handed model, but this one accommodates stringing the guitar left handed. This proved very strong and stable, tunes up and plays just like the original. The 1st fret of most headless guitars acts as the "tonal nut", so any strong material can be used for the "string attachment nut" without affecting tone at all. I use cheap but quality filaments of many brands, so nothing special. Print close or at max infill. I printed mine @40mm/s, 230C/60C. Hope you like it and thanks for your support.
