Left Side Shallower (shorter) double drawer case for Ender 3 (CC-BY)

Left side for shallower drawer. Shallower than the original. Incl. new Top drawer. This does <i>not</i> fit the Pro, Max, and V2 version. <a href='https://ko-fi.com/T6T4DXTSD' target='_blank'><img height='36' style='border:0px;height:36px;' src='https://cdn.ko-fi.com/cdn/kofi4.png?v=3' border='0' alt='Buy Me a Coffee at ko-fi.com' /></a> ## Why The left side was free on my printer and I wanted more storage space. ## Design Details Top drawer can be reused from the original. Might need to be mirrored to look nicely. 3mm shallower than the original-original, 50mm high in total. Has more holes to reduce material need. Modified the v-slot inserts to make installation easier. Y axis pulley still has to be removed for installation, though. Case measures 50mm from top to bottom. Top drawer included (but the handle looks different) but can be used from the original Thing. Might need mirroring, though. New Bottom drawer included. Old one <i>cannot</i> be used with left drawer case (because it's too wide). I also used it with the spacer from the original Thing (enlarged in Z to 10mm) to avoid danger of squishing the display ribbon cable. ## Print Instructions <b>MIRROR CASE IN SLICER BEFORE GENERATION GCODE</b> Check drawer handle alignment before printing if drawer handle alignment is important. Print case upright. Print drawer laying flat. Infill can probably be reduced. I printed the first few millimeters of the case and then aborted the print to make sure that it fits with the current screw length because measuring the distance screw to v-slot insert was very difficult. ## Assembly Instructions <ol> <li>Remove left side end cap with supplied 4mm allen key. <li>Remove Y pulley <li>Insert drawer. <li>Re-mount Y pulley. <li>Re-mount 4040 end cap again. <li>Insert drawers </ol> Thing might have problems with Button Box addons. ### Materials Needed <ul> <li>4mm allen key to remove X axis pulley (supplied with machine) </ul> <a href='https://ko-fi.com/T6T4DXTSD' target='_blank'><img height='36' style='border:0px;height:36px;' src='https://cdn.ko-fi.com/cdn/kofi4.png?v=3' border='0' alt='Buy Me a Coffee at ko-fi.com' /></a> (All product links are MakerBot affiliate links.
