Lego holder for laser module

Use two of them to hold a laser module of any length in place. One side for the light and another for the cables. No screws needed, because it's held together using the mounts. 10 to 11 mm diameter should fit inside by default. The upper part can be scaled up in the slicer software to handle 12 mm laser modules. A solid glass rod can be used to cheaply convert a point laser into a line laser. Break off an end of the glass rod and cover the sharp end using shrink plastic or melt the glass directly using a gas burner. Tilting the glass will bend the line into a circular curve. Legal note: LEGO lost a court case where it was decided that the standard itself cannot be copyrighted because it had mathematical features more suitable for a patent, which would've expired a long time ago if they would've filed for one. According to copyright law, it's okay to print parts compatible with LEGO, but not print a part of a standard design that would violate LEGO's copyright.
