I gave Tony's design a complete overhaul. His initial design featured simplistic holes with 6mm diameters, but unfortunately, it was completely unusable. I rectified this issue by modifying the hole profile to a narrower 5mm diameter while maintaining the top and bottom widths at 6mm, identical to standard LEGO hole dimensions.
