Lego Shelf

Intro

My print room consists of a bunch of IKEA Kallax units in which I’ve put boxes from Clas Ohlson for my filament spools. But since my collection of spools have grown I’ve found myself more than once having to go looking for a particular spool.

The model

It all changed when I stumbled across Hello there’s Lego Compatible Filament Sample Bricks. So I fired up Fusion and got to designing and came up with a small shelf with 2x12 studs, because 6 spools is just about max capacity for the boxes. It’s slightly slanted to interface with the box at the proper angle. I attached them with some heavy duty velcro to aid in modification.

Printing

I printed mine at 0.2mm, 15% infill, brim but no supports.
