Legs for Cricut Explore Air 2

These legs were designed to complement the curves found on the Cricut. 3D printed layer lines running parallel to the table on other designs--my own included--have always been an eyesore to me, and in this design I opted to intentionally incorporate them into the aesthetic. The legs grow out from two "trunks" and branch out to grasp removeable attachments on the bottom of your machine, using the layer lines to hearken back to the organic texture and form of wood grain rather than the cold mechanical feel of straight lines. As for how the legs attach to the machine, the legs have four feet that use the original screws to replace the Cricut's rubber feet. These feet slot into mated keyways at the top of the legs, allowing the machine to be picked up and carried with the legs attached while permitting the legs to be simply slid off when needed. The original rubber feet simply friction-fit into holes at the bottom of the legs to continue to provide traction and reduce vibrations.
