Legs for floor or lap desk

*Check out my blog about *[3D Printing and Home Automation](https://automatedhome.party/) After the school from home thing started, the kids needed a small desk to do their work. They preferred sitting on the floor over a real table, so I needed to make a small floor/lap desk for them. I already had one, but I have 2 kids. And I already had a 12x24 inch shelf from an old desk that isn't being used. I was going to make the legs out of wood, but I figured designing something and using a 3D printer would have looked cleaner than my wood working skills could produce. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. It's super solid. I'm confident that if someone were to stand on it, the legs would hold up just fine, although I'm not sure about the shelf itself. The shelf I used is similar to [THIS ONE](https://amzn.to/2Xo9edk). You can use any rectangular shaped piece of wood that is at least about 1/2 inch thick. And you will also need some short screws. [These](https://amzn.to/2Xo9edk) would work well.
