LQ-LC01A2 (new version) This is an updated, and newly created, version of the original LQ-LC01A1 lens cap for the Leica Q Typ 116. The main advantage over the standard lens cap is the lanyard attachment point. The lens cap now has full compatibility with the Ever Ready Case (19502), and the Day Bag (19504), and is designed to be used as is, without any protective tape around the cap edges. I would however suggest black tape or adhesive felt on the inside of the lenscap, as illustrated - especially if you're printing at 0.2mm, as the cap won't be light-tight. The cap can be printed without supports given a properly functioning printer - print it upside down, with the Leica logo facing down. You can use anything for a lanyard, but I'd suggest what I did - which is to buy the really cheap, small nylon wrist lanyards from eBay, cut off the plastic bit, thread the lanyard through the body and the cap, then just slightly melt the ends (& squish it down at the cap with a flat thing while it's cooling) after tying them off.
