The locking nodge of the old Leifheit Linomatic drying mill had broken long time ago. We had a pin in it to hold it up, but you needed quit some strength to unfold it properly. With the rotating and locking mechanism I desgined it is very easy to fold/unfold and give it the tension it needs. There are different Lonomatic models. The newer models seem to have smaller nodges, but the overall idea for easy tensioning of can be re-used for those too. The rotating part is 51.5 mm on the inside.
