Lemonade Stand Fitting

Lemonade Stand Fitting

thingiverse

My daughter has a lemonade stand playhouse that we got for her this summer from Sams Club. The structure is made up of 3/4" pipe and fittings and it's overlayed with a canvas material. Since we didn't take it all apart carefully and store it away properly some of the pieces remained out in the garage and couple of the pipe fittings broke. So in case anyone else out there needs a replacement part for one of the four way fittings I thought I'd share. I'm sure we'll end up breaking more of the fittings and I'll end up posting some of the others on here over time... I originally designed this to have 20 mm openings on all 4 sides. This is slightly larger than the 3/4" pipe that it's supposed to fit on because (probably due to poor calibration) I've found that my printer adds extra thickness to parts. After printing I found that the 2 side openings were perfect but the top and front were too lose. I assume that this has to do with how it gets sliced and the layers go down while printing. I reduced the opening size on the top and front and now the part works perfectly for me. It's possible that someone else will have to scale this thing down to 98-96% for it fit tightly.
