I've never had to model a piece of chain before, but today I needed some for another model.This is a part made by patterning the links along a curve.I think it looks a lot better than a straight length of chain.I hope you'll have a use for it.The SolidWorks model is 2017I just spotted this chain making tutorial you might enjoy as well: Modeling Chain in SolidWorksIt was a done a little differently than what I did here, but I think it is safe to say that great minds think alike!
