I found a laptop in the trash that I fixed up for a friend. It was missing the hard drive bay cover and I figured I'd try to measure the gap with my calipers and print one. This works quite well. You may try elongating the little tab to make it more secure, but it works as-is. I'm going to deliver the laptop like this.
