# Compatibility ## Intended purpose This holder is designed to hold a Thinkpad X1 Yoga (Gen5) when connected to a docking station. It allows the device to be used as an additional screen when in tablet mode rotation without wasting desk space for the keyboard in front and without having the camera bottom-up. ## Docking Station A Thinkpad USB-C Dock (Gen2) fits between both holder connectors at the bottom to provide a compact form and clean(er) desk. ## Holder Angle The device is fixed at a +-20° degree angle which should provide a good average for most desks and viewing angles. Do not hesitate to contact me for versions rotated to other angles. # Usage ## Transporting The connectors are easily removable for a compacter transport form. If keeping it on a desk, a drop of glue between connector and holder is recommended to prevent any risk of detachment when moving it around. ## Extendability All holders provide connectors on the inside and outside to reduce the number of pieces needed and to provide slots for extensions. This allows to connect cable holders, headset stands, ... on the outside triangle connectors of the holders. → Addon: Cableholder This addon clips into the far-back outer connector and is wide/high enough to hold several cables such as HDMI + USB-C when the laptop has been removed from the stand. This prevents cables from laying around or sliding off your desk.
