Lens Caps (one part print)

Lens Caps (one part print)

thingiverse

I needed a lens cap for my Raynox-250 macro lens to go with the rear cover I designed earlier. After some modifications to make it easier to adjust dimensions I've uploaded more cap sizes. Print without support. After print, place the cap with button towards a hard surface and push firmly until it snaps loose. Do the same for the other side. There's only a 0.3mm gap in the design so it will probably stick together somewhat. I've printed in 0.15mm PLA and PETG. As always, if you find it useful a tiny donation goes a long way to show appreciation. :) NOTE: This lens-cap uses the same spring mechanism as GlOwl but is otherwise designed from scratch :https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3241700 NOTE 200606: I've updated the thread. It's not exact since it is very difficult to get exact dimensioned threads using a FDM printer. I've tried to find a good compromise though.
