I couldn't find a lens hood that fit the original GoPro Hero HD waterproof hard shell case. This lens hood was made for camera so it can be flown by my Phantom DJI without the shutter effect from the sun. The petals are cut to allow for no vignetting in mode 3 (720 x 60 FPS). I haven't tested other resolutions yet. The hood is made slightly small to be friction fit onto the plastic ring. I used a hobby knife to lightly remove the last bit of material - then it fits on tightly.
