The original lens hood was like 20 bucks, so I made my own. I'm quite new to Fusion 360 and this was a fun little project, took me about three tries to be satisfied with the results. Depending on your printer, you may have to carefully file down the tiny plastic tab a little bit, so that it snaps in more easily. Since I couldn't find accurate dimensions of the original lens hood anywhere, I had to eyeball some measurements. It could probably be 5mm longer and still not cause any vignetting, but I played it safe and it gets the job done anyway. Feel free to remix and share your improvements! I hope this helps someone saving some dosh on overpriced Nikon accessories, and spend it on more filament for cool projects instead :)
