Lens Hood Tamron A17 70-300mm (DA17)

This is a lens hood for a Tamron A17 (ref. DA17), 70-300mm lens with Macro mode. I bought a camera that came with this lens, and didn’t come with the hood, so I designed one in Fusion 360. I didn’t find any CAD models to build from, I designed it from scratch. As I didn’t find any dimensions online, I designed it from reference pictures, especially for the length, as I wanted to avoid vignetting. This was achieved. Might be a little tight, so I recommend a slight sanding of the engagement ring The hood can be installed with the lens cap on. I recommend printing it in a opaque filament, and painting it with a mate black paint. It works fine without but might improve its performance. If useful for a remix, the lens filter diameter is 62mm.
