Lens protection for 4-12x40 Nikon Prostaff rifle-scope (with logo in bas-relief) The two protections (objective and eyepiece) have been custom-designed for the Nikon rifle- scope, but they should be suitable for all trifle- scopes with a thickness of 50mm on the lens side and 43mm on the eyepiece side. The anti-reflection filter has a diameter of about 49 mm because the seat has been designed to accommodate 49 mm photographic filters. The filters are held in place through the use of 2 x 1 mm cylindrical magnets and the closure of the caps is ensured with the same system. For test the pieces were made for PLA test but, of course, they are made of ABS or with better polymers.
