A printable letter opener where you insert a piece of a 10 mm snap-off blade during the print. Instructions At my office I open lots of letters, so I came up with this letter opener which uses a really sharp and durable blade from a 10 mm snap-off blade knife. The opener is designed to cut in a movement towards the body. Start the print, make sure you have at least 1 mm top and bottom shell. Slice with grooved side down. Prepare a piece of blade and tape with the sticky side down. Pause at approximately 70% of the print, and tape down the blade in the space as depicted. Finish the print, the plastic should now print on top of the painters tape. Sand and polish until the letter opener feels nice to use. Bring it to the office and show off your super duper sharp letter opener, maybe trade one for a lunch. If you want to make it possible to exchange the blade, it is possible to fold a few layers of tape and place it sticking out from the blade compartment. When the print is finished, pull out the tape and insert a blade. I haven't tried this myself, so if it doesn't work, remix!
