LEVELUP! The LevelUp! upgrade kit allows you to add new functionality as well as improve the existing features of any original PP3DP Up!, Up! Plus and Afinia H479/H480 series 3D printers; including automatic print bed levelling, extruder temperature control and modern slicing software capability to your printer. Post-Printing Further Information FURTHER INFORMATION This is achieved with a inductive sensor assembly which is permanently retro fitted to the stepper driver of the Extruder. The sensor takes height measurements of the print bed at different coordinates, the host software then uses this information to level the object being printed. It is therefore no longer necessary to manually level the pint bed. User defined extruder temperature Print materials which require specific extruder temperatures – different to the pre-set temperature of the standard printer – can now be used. Materials such as: PLA – Polylactic Acid ABS – Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene Nylon – Polyamide PET – Polyethylene Terephthalate TPU – Thermoplastic Polyurethane LAYBRINK – gives parts the look and feel of stone LAYWOO-D3 – gives parts the look and feel of wood MoldLay – specifically engineered for moldmaking This is a small selection of materials which can be used as a result of user defined extruder temperatures. It is recommended that Matter Control is used as the host software. It offers far superior slicing of 3D models and a vast range of user configurable settings.
