The maneuver worked to perfection, as Levi was able to reach his enemy's location unnoticed, taking him by surprise. The Heichou tore him apart in his titan form and captured him too violently as a human; so much so that the scene in which the captain's sword enters his mouth and exits through one eye was censored in the anime, decreeing a crushing victory in his favor.
