Levitating BFR (Big Floating Rocket) Decorative Lamp

<p>With all the news coverage of the rocket companies working on new rockets and space travel, I figured I would make something with a bit of "magic" in it. This uses a magnetic levitation box that is readily available online (listing of parts used below) from many suppliers. My listing below is where I got mine, but is not an endorsement of that company or retailer. The rocket itself is PETG clear and reflects the light in an active pattern from the twisted texture of the rocket body. The rocket is printed in Vase mode. No supports were used on my Prusa i3 MK3S. PETG parts were printed using the textured plate, and all PLA was printed using the smooth plate.</p> <p>The LED's were cut to 12 LED's, and then run up and down the gantry. This shines light on both the levitating rocket as well as lighting the gantry for effect.</p>
