I've always found superconductors fascinating and I wanted to come up with a really cool demo to show in outreach activities so this is my design for a levitating Superconductor on a Möbius strip! The demo consists in a superconductor levitating on a track a magnets. The 3D printed pieces are meant to hold the magnets together to form the track. But in order to build this you'll need much more than a 3D printer (see full list below) The track is modular and has 3 types of pieces: strait, turn an twist. Pieces can be screwed together into the desired track design. Depending on how much $$ you have to buy magnets and a good superconductor you can decide on the shape and length of the track you want to build. Note that to use the twist you need a really strong superconductor that will stay locked. ####Credits: Thanks to *NSERC* who provided funding to for the project!
