Screw Lift Aga based on a design in Bruce Armstrong's Encyclopedia of Suspensions and Levitations (Calgary: M. Hades International, 1976). http://www.worldcat.org/oclc/4467299 Instructions Print two of the base files -- these will be the top and bottom of the main apparatus. You also need a threaded M8 rod, two 608 bearings, and five M8 nuts. Four pieces, equal in length, cut from a quarter-inch square dowel are used as supports between the bases. A section of coat hanger goes between the captive nut piece and the brace. The small brace is designed for a StickFa figure. The coupler is designed to fit the M8 threaded rod and a Solarbotics GM2 gear motor. The motor is controlled with an Arduino and DPDT relay. Drill out the holes to fit the rod; sandpaper can help for smoother finishes and to help get the dowels in. Your StickFas will need some sort of stage to perform it on.
