When our LG gas dryer button had broken due to the spring loading being part of the assembly of plastic, I searched and found only the whole panel had to be replaced at a cost of well over $100. Then, later, I found a button at two different suppliers but would cost nearly $50 by the time they tacked on tax and shipping. So, for about $0.40 I can now just print the replacement in any color I choose. It took me less than 2 hours do design with Fusion 360 using the broken button for measurements, and about 20 minutes to print in PETG. The plastic half rings are the spring loaded so you need to use PETG or nylon as they will withstand the force and not snap. There is a little nub on the bottom that pushes against a micro-switch on the pcb inside. The square base snaps into the bank of the front panel. Most of the bottom area doesn't look real polished because it is inside and not seen and I didn't want to take any more time to clean it up..
