# LG Stylo 5 Case A simple phone case for an LG Stylo 5 modeled in FeeCAD (two versions, with openings and with buttons built into the case) ## About In the spirit of Hacktoberfest, I wanted to contribute something to the 3D modeling world. We recently changed phone providers and picked up some new phones (an LG Stylo 5). Instead of buying a case, I decided to contribute one to the open source community. This case is simple, and gives a lot of room for creativity and customization. So please feel free to take it and make something more out of it. I modeled this in FreeCAD, and am including the FreeCAD file, as well as a STEP and STL to allow you to "re-make" it however you see fit. ## Original The original is plain, with openings for the volume and power buttons. ## With Buttons I was requested to create a model with buttons in the case, for this version there are 3 models; the case, the power button, and the volume buttons. ## CAD Files https://github.com/jwilliamsnephos/LGStylo5Case ## Printing I was able to print the case successfully on my Anet A8 without supports using PLA. There were a couple places I was worried about needing supports (over the buttons and stylus pockets) but they printed just fine. ## Assembly To install the phone, insert the bottom of the phone into the reliefs provided and carefully and forcefully push the phone into place from the bottom up.
