I saw these "Platez" by Muzz64 (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1404000), and wanted something customisable. So I created my own.

Update: You can now change the font for all three lines individually.

I've also thinned the Licence Plate out a little and moved the holes to match Muzz64's version a lot closer.

Update: Added a lot of fonts. Thanks Google.

Update: You can now move the top and bottom lines of text up and down a little. The middle line is static in the centre and cannot be moved.

Unless someone wants another feature, I'm going to mark this as finished. I shouldn't make any more edits.

Print Settings

Printer:

Prusa i3 Clone

Rafts:

Doesn't Matter

Supports:

No

Resolution:

0.2

Infill:

20%

Notes:

Using a raft will help this lift off the build plate easier, but it is not necessary if you've got your bed levelled correctly.
Wait till it cools if you don't use a raft, that way the plate stays flat when you lift it off.
How I Designed This

Written in OpenSCAD, and copying a bit of code from various places around the net and Thingiverse.

Category: Signs & Logos
