I used this to replace spring steel clips for my k1500 plate lamps, the originals rusted out completely. I put some foam tape on the back of the lamps to keep them snug and pointed in the correct position. (will upload pictures eventually.) They were for lights I ordered on amazon, link below, that did not come with clips and I didn't want to spend what they wanted for the clips.
