Easy Open Steel/Glass Water Bottle (13.25 in tall) Have you ever gotten tired of constantly unscrewing the lid of your water bottle, whenever you need just a small sip of water? Do you struggle when your drinks are kept too cold or two hot - never the perfect temperature? Don't you hate that plastic or metalic taste from all sorts of water bottles - but don't want a glass one because it might break? If yes, then this water bottle is for you! Featuring a unique and one of a kind seal, similar to that of a watch band in a circle pattern, the lid interlocks with the body seamlessly, to reduce the spill of your drinks, but make it easy to drink! A double insulated wall protects your drink at the perfect temperature - even with an indent in the bottom to prevent condensation that might ruin your desk. With a glass-like structure in the inside, you can see your drink, taste it free from weird chemicals, and keep it protected. A layer of metal coats this glass for ultimate protection, and a stylish-timeless-design with engraved hexegons. Even the small details count, with a hand-hold to carry your bottle, see the contents, and keep it cool! Try this deign for yourself. Printing: To 3D print, split into the two parts, (Lid and Bottom). Stop near the ending of the process and switch filament to Ninja Flex for the fillet locking mechanism of the lid. For the glass/clear inside use a clear filament (Food Grade), split into three parts, and assemble after printing. Features: -One of a kind lid without a screw design, for easy opening and closing -Double wall insulation -Indented bottom to prevent condensation and improve strength -"Glass" interior wall to protect water while able to view contents -Stainless Steel exterior laying to improve durability and handling -Unique partial hexagon design on side -Large side indent to hold the bottle and see through the glass About: Designed using extrusions, fillets, chamfors, and assembly in Solidworks (2019). Note: Hasn't been 3D printed at this time, only designed and modeled. First time uploading a project/making one (hopefully it works!). Design Time: 6 hours - probably way less if your experienced. It just took me a while because I don't really know how to use Solidworks yet. Intro to Engineering | Period 6 | East High School
