Someone drove away with landpower still attached, so the lid protecting the power inlet broke off. I've made a copy of this, as I had to replace it due to a faulty one. The first one I printed in PLA worked fine at first, but a warm summer warped it, forcing me to create a new one out of a more temperature-stable material. So, I opted for ABS instead. However, I encountered significant issues with warping when printing with ABS, especially given the large surface area involved. To overcome this challenge, I applied an ABS-slurry and built a box around the printer to stabilize the temperature, ultimately succeeding in creating one successfully. To personalize your hatch, you can add the VW logo for a customized design. I decided to paint it with PlastiDip for a high-quality finish. Tips for making: - Be aware of warping from the start. - Ensure that the printing surface is perfectly levelled. - Choose a temperature-stable material. Infill: 40% Wall thickness: 1.2 Material: PLA or ABS
