Lid support

Lid support

thingiverse

My new $2 Thrift Store deep fryer doesn't have a hinged lid. Finding somewhere to lay the hot, greasy lid down is inconvenient, so I made this lid support. The support is a tight fit on this fryer's plastic lifting handles. It is semi-permanently attached with silicone caulk adhesive and seems secure enough, but it might also be bolted on if the appropriate holes are drilled through the handle. 70 minutes, 40 grams ABS using Afinia defaults. The STL file is not metric. To convert to Metric, scale it up (X,Y and Z) by a factor of 25.4.
