Lifeguard Tube Keychain

Lifeguard Tube Keychain

I am a lifeguard. There are not many keychains pertaining to the job of lifeguarding, so I made one. I was only able to find a keychain of a lifeguard buoy. The issue is I am a pool lifeguard and not a beach lifeguard, so I decided to model a keychain after the standard lifeguard tube. The dimensions of the model are nearly proportionate to the tube's actual size (few millimeters off) at a 3/32 scale. I tried to get as close to the actual shape of the tube with the model. I have created two separate models here. One is the tube with the text recessed (Lifeguard_Tube_Recessed.stl), and one with it raised up (Lifeguard_Tube_Raised.stl). The recessed file is for people that want to make the model, but only have one color of filament, the raised file is for people that have more than one color of filament and are wanting to make the text a different color. The two-color effect can be achieved by setting up your gcode to pause at a certain layer so you can change filament and resume the print. I would recommend using red and white as that is the colors used on the actual lifeguard tube, but whatever floats your boat. I'm sure green or blue would look nice as well. EDIT: Pictures only show the raised version with two colors being used.
