Lift Body TF-X Car

The flying car is based in a lift body, similar to the NASA protoypes like the X-24. The body shape is basically an airfoil. For the cad i used a Goettingen 561 and Goe 518 that have a flat lower side. For the wing i used a NACA 4415. WIth this distribution, the wing does not have to be long, because the main lift force is done by the body of the car. There is a video incluyed made by Catia in which the wing, blades... are moving. The car is design for 4 people, with some separation between the 2 front seats and the back seats.
