This is a mount for Black Box Reef lights. This will use the holes on the side of the light for 8mm rods. Make sure your hole centers are 170mm apart. I would not recommend using this method of mounting on tanks much wide than 60 inches due to the weight of the lights. If you are mounting on much wider tanks I would suggest using a carbon fiber, nylon or other strong filament with 90-100% fill. Make sure your printer is able to print a 203x210 object for the euro and a 195x210 for the thin. This looks much better than the pvc pipe, 2x4 and other methods I have seen. Purchase 2 8mm metal rods (preferably stainless) the width of your aquarium. The fit is interference. So make sure your printer is calibrated. It should be tight. If too tight, heat up the metal rod and push in. Do not use if too loose. This has 2 files. One for eurobrace which has a wider foot and a thin one for thinner braces. I would NOT recommend this for rimless tanks. The thin will work on the Euro and the euro will work on the thin. The photo is of the euro on a thin tank and the lip over-hangs.
