Light Shelf Bracket

Light Shelf Bracket

cults3d

This is a simple shelf bracket designed for IKEA's [BURHULT (c)] design. They wouldn't sell the simple plastic design they used to sell, so why not design something similar with an even cooler design than one a student could create? Or perhaps a former student, as designers and architects are often forever-students. We all know that. You won't store big books or "working out stuff" on these brackets, but LEGO or other small kids' toys should fit well for years to come. Please adapt the skin thickness and filling ratio according to your intentions. If you're not an engineer: I used two 0.4 walls with a 33% infill for the brackets in the picture. The secret lies within the infill overlay with walls that have been raised to 15% in Cura, allowing stronger continuous bonds with the walls. If you don't understand this, the brackets will fall apart and you'll have to deal with your ignorance and a possibly angry wife or husband. Everybody likes these brackets, and they've yet to break after three weeks.
