Lighthouse Leuchtturm Obereversand
thingiverse
Scale model 1:100 of the lighthouse Obereversand at the german north sea coast near Cuxhaven (Dorum-Neufeld). - The model consists of three main parts (house, platform and truss) and ten nodes for the truss structure. - To get an 1:100 model use a uniform scaling of 1000%. - All main parts require customized support structures. - I printed the truss in one print, but I would suggest to split the truss part in half (at the middle layer) to save some of the support structures. - For trusses I used 0.8 mm wire. To set their position I used modelling glue (UHU Plast Special) - As a window you can simply use a small piece of white paper. - The lighthouse can actually be enlighted by using a 9V battery, resistor, LED, battery-snap-contact and switch. If you like to be fancy and switch on the light wireless you could use a mini wireless relais. - The platform has a hole in the middle which can be use for e.g. a power supply. If you use a battery you can print it without the hole. Thanks to Förderverein Leuchtturmdenkmal Obereversand e. V. to providing the technical drawnings!
