Qui-Gon Jinn's lightsaber was wielded by the human Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn . Jinn used this lightsaber until the Battle of Naboo , where he was mortally wounded by the Sith Lord Darth Maul. Qui-Gon's apprentice, Obi-Wan Kenobi, then used the same lightsaber to defeat Maul after losing his own. After the battle, Kenobi used it as his own before constructing a new lightsaber. Anakin Skywalker temporarily wielded this weapon as a Padawan before building his own lightsaber.
