My first official sculpt! This is the first of three sculpts I made for my D&D 5e character, an Artillerist Artifcier who loves bugs! I've included all the files needed to make a lighted or non-lighted version. I wanted to keep the form factor small enough to still use on a 1"x1" square so rather than using a switch, I decided to design a battery pack that could be added whenever you want a glow. I prototyped in pla (I3 mega S) and finished in resin (Photon) so either should work, although the fdm may need a bit more cleanup. I included the files to print with or without base or in three parts for easier support (although in three parts, the bulb has been cut to fit the LED conduit). While most of this model was created from scratch on Gravity Sketch on my Oculus Quest, the rocky base I used was created by Valandar and is in a pack they released a while back: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3067745) For the Lighted version you will need: A 5mm LED or any color ( I chose yellow) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073QMYKDM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 A 2032 Coin Battery https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07MC4L4P8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 A Small strip of sheet metal (steel or copper) cut to fit. I used 25 gauge sheet steel as that's what I had on hand. An m3x4 flat head screw to secure the metal in place (super glue might actually be a simpler solution) 1 3mmx8mm cylinder neodymium magnet for the negative terminal (I found mine at Home Depot). When printed in resin, the magnet was slightly loose, but after priming/painting it seemed to fit well. The light design feels a little crude, but it suits my needs for the time being. I may look into refining it in the future. Let me know if you have any thoughts/questions!
