<p>This is an adapter so one can use common 18650 LiIon cells instead of 26650 cells in a tubular receptacle.</p><p>It should be printed in vase mode.</p><p>I printed the one in the photos at 0.34mm layer height and 0.4mm perimeter thickness.</p><p>The cell fits tightly in the adapter and there is just a tiny bit of wiggle room in the flashlight that I printed this for.&nbsp;</p><p>Dimensions can easily be tweaked at print time in your slicer.</p><p>FreeCAD model is also available for your enjoyment.</p><p>I've based the idea for this model on another similar great design by zeroflow: <a href="https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/1584-liion-18650-to-26650-adapter">https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/1584-liion-18650-to-26650-adapter</a></p><p>The main difference between the two is that my model is more flexible. It is more tolerant of variations in cell outer diameter and tube/pipe inner diameter.</p><p>If printed in vase mode even with regular PLA it is quite flexible and should adjust itself to fit your cell and your receptacle.</p>
