The curved version dimensions are based on the headstock dia of my bicycle. It would be difficult to 3d print the curved shield when it's so much easier to just form the pla around a cylinder after printing flat. You could use your hot bed plate to make the flat shield form-able. That's not to say you don't need the 3d graphic for software, the web or printing etc
