Our highly versatile and customizable line-following robot is specifically designed for the Pololu QTR-8RC Sensor array. This advanced frame allows for easy adjustment of the sensor array's position and the front wheel, enabling optimal performance in various environments. Included in the package is a file for an extended right bracket, perfect for adding a brushless motor. The robot works seamlessly with only the right half attached, offering a more streamlined design. When not in use, the left side of the fork doubles as a convenient distance sensor mount, providing excellent functionality in this configuration. For assembly, M3 screws are required, and while nuts are recommended, they are not strictly necessary. The wheel is designed for a snug fit on a 4.8mm shaft, so you may need a hammer or similar tools to secure it in place. The fork, on the other hand, has a loose fit on the shaft, which can be improved with some small washers. We recommend printing 95% of the robot in PLA for optimal durability, with the front tire printed in TPU for enhanced traction. Our robot is a fantastic choice for both beginners and experienced makers, offering numerous features and adaptability for diverse applications. Don't miss out on this unique, high-performance line-following robot – try it to build one for by yourself today!
