Linear Actuator

Linear Actuator

thingiverse

This is a Linear actuator design that is similar to the one made by @YXC (link to this make: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2818642). I used the same basic concept but adapted it to fit an M4x80 Philips pan head bolt and use M2 bolts to hold it all together. It is surprisingly strong and pretty efficient. *NOTE* the images don't show the 694ZZ Bearing that was what was eventually used in the final design. The images also show a bolt in the actuator arm to act as a stopper, but this feature isn't incorporated in the files (to add the stopper I simply meted a short M2 nut and bot into the top of the arm). What I used: - 1 M4x80 Philips pan head bolt - 2 M4 Hex nuts - 4 M2x8 pan head bolts - 1 694ZZ Bearing - 1 N20 geared motor 9mm shaft (any shaft length should work)
